Whether you're a mother, father, grandparent, or guardian, your role in shaping and supporting our children is invaluable. Cross Country
Congratulations to our incredible cross country runners! Belle, Zac, Indianna, Indiana, and William showcased their determination and skill at the Diocesan Cross Country event in Coolah this Tuesday. We couldn't be prouder of their performance and the effort they put into representing our school. Well done to each of you for giving it your all and running with such spirit.
Catholic Schools Week 6-10 May
A big thank you to all the wonderful families and community members who joined us on Thursday to celebrate Catholic Schools Week, it was great to see so many people join us for the afternoon. We enjoyed a delightful afternoon exploring the school, visiting the classrooms for a Gratitude Scavenger Hunt, and afternoon tea. Fr Dong celebrated Mass for us to end the day.
CWA Puplic Speaking
Children in years 3-6 have been given a hard copy of information about the CWA Public Speaking Competition. Children are encouraged to start writing their speeches now and be ready to present them on Monday 20th of May. If you have any queries, please contact the office.

School Improvement Surveys
Parents shoud have received an email containing a link to school improvement surveys.
This survey should take between 5-10 minutes to complete and is being conducted to gather your knowledge, beliefs and experiences regarding our school. This survey is part of a suite of annual surveys that are being conducted with staff, parents and students. The results and analysis of the data will assist us to drive school improvement.
Your participation in this questionnaire is voluntary and confidential. All analysis of data will be done in such a way that your identity will remain anonymous. We would greatly value your participation and input.

Homework Club
If you wish to make adjustments to your child's weekly pickup schedule, for Term 2, please kindly complete the Bus/Home Form provided here: BUS/HOME FORM.
You may have noticed that we now have a sign out sheet at homework club. Please continue to sign your child out when they are picked up.
NOTE: If anyone other than the child‘s parents are collecting a child please phone or text message the school phone to advise.
Reminders
LUNCHBOXES and ALLERGIES
- ALLERGIES: All lunch boxes need to be egg and Peanut free - this includes food packed for homework club.
- GLASS: Please do not send glass containers in your child's lunch box - they are easily broken.
SCHOOL HATS
Please check your child's hat to ensure it belongs to them and that they have not mistakenly taken another student's hat home.
EMERGENCY CONTACTS
Please could you ensure that the emergency contacts and people authorised to pick up your child from school is current. If you are unsure of who is currently on the list, please contact the office to check.

Write your child's name and order on the front of a paper bag, and place the money inside (if you pay for your child's order directly with The Fat Parcel, please write "paid" on the bag.

School Student Broadband Initiative
To boost education opportunities and narrow the digital divide, the Australian Government is providing up to 30,000 for eligible families with school age children with no internet at home access to free nbn® for one year under the School Student Broadband Initiative (SSBI). Access to the SSBI will become easier, with the announcement of a National Referral Centre that parents/carers with school students can contact directly to check their eligibility.
To be eligible for SSBI, families working directly with an SSBI Nominating Organisation, or self nominating through the National Referral Centre, must:
- Have a child living at home that is enrolled in an Australian school (up to year 12 including from Prep in Qld/Vic/Tas & Kindy in NSW).
- Not have an active nbn® network internet service at home. Having a mobile internet service does not affect eligibility.
- Live in a premises that can access a standard* nbn service.
- Not have had an active nbn connection during the previous 14 days.
- Either be referred by a nominating organisation or have your suitability determined via an assessment conducted by the National Referral Centre
